About the Trek – Vaishno Devi Yatra

The trek to Vaishno Devi Temple is one of India’s most sacred pilgrimages. Starting from Katra, the journey is about 12–13 km uphill to the holy Bhawan. The path is well-paved, illuminated, and has facilities like भोजन stalls, पानी points, and rest areas. Devotees chant “Jai Mata Di” throughout the trek, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The route passes key stops like Banganga, Ardhkuwari, and Sanjichhat before reaching the shrine.
